Most TWS earphones protrude from the ear, causing discomfort, especially when users are lying on their side. Xiaolu Cai's PaMu Nano addresses this issue with an "invisible in the ear" design. This innovative approach was developed through testing and adjusting based on the ear data of more than 5,000 users, ensuring a comfortable fit for most ears.
PaMu Nano's unique properties extend beyond comfort. The earbuds are tailored for young users and suitable for a variety of scenarios. The charging case surface uses a special elastic cloth to hide the indicator light through integrated packaging technology. The earbuds also feature magnetic suction for easy operation, Bluetooth 5.0 for a fast and stable connection, and an aptX codec for higher sound quality. They are also water-resistant, with an IPX6 rating.
The design realization of PaMu Nano involved extensive data optimization and the use of integrated packaging technology. The earbuds were designed to fit snugly and comfortably in the ear, while the elastic cloth on the charging case hides the functional indicator light. The earbuds also offer wireless charging, providing users with more choices in different scenarios.
The earbuds measure 22mm in width, depth, and height, and weigh just 5.05g. The total weight of the product, including the charging case, is 53g. These compact dimensions and lightweight design contribute to the earbuds' comfort and portability.
PaMu Nano's design process was not without challenges. The collection and summarization of ear data from thousands of users was a significant task. Refining this data into a headphone shape suitable for target users and ensuring a comfortable fit were key challenges. The design team also worked to provide a unique texture and temperature on the product while maintaining a minimalist design style.
PaMu Nano's innovative design has been recognized with a Golden A' Audio and Sound Equipment Design Award in 2021. This prestigious award is granted to outstanding and trendsetting creations that advance art, science, design, and technology. Xiaolu Cai's design embodies extraordinary excellence and significantly impacts the world with its desirable characteristics.
